The Location
Perfectly situated on the southwest corner of San Francisco Plaza in Quito’s Old Town, Casa Gangotena overlooks one of the city’s most iconic and historic squares. This plaza once served as a marketplace for indigenous traders during Inca times and later became home to some of the city’s wealthiest families.
