The National Geographic Delfina delivers an exceptional small-ship expedition experience in the Galápagos, with a thoughtful layout designed to maximise both comfort and connection to the wild surroundings. With three decks, eight guest staterooms, and dedicated communal spaces built for adventure, this catamaran invites you to explore the islands with style and purpose.
National Geographic Delfina Deck Plans consist of a Main Deck, Upper Deck, and Sun Deck or the Observation Deck.
Cabin layouts & Highlights

All eight cabins are ocean-facing with large windows and modern, expedition-style décor.

Category 4 (Upper Deck): 172 sq ft, large windows, direct deck access, twin or queen bedding, optional interconnecting cabins.

Category 5 (Main Deck): 172 sq ft plus a 43 sq ft private balcony, twin or queen bedding, large windows, private outdoor seating.

Each cabin includes an ensuite bathroom, ample storage, climate control, flat-screen TV, and onboard WiFi.

The topmost Observation Deck is an open-air sanctuary made for relaxation and stargazing. Here you’ll find comfortable lounge chairs, a shaded area, and a whirlpool hot tub — an ideal spot for unwinding after a day of exploration and watching the islands drift by.
The Upper Deck offers sweeping wrap-around views of the Galápagos, complete with an al-fresco dining area at the stern and panoramic vantage points at the bow — perfect for spotting wildlife or enjoying sunset cocktails.
Four staterooms (Category 4) are located here (#300-303). These are also 172 sq ft, featuring large windows and doors that open directly to the outside deck. For families or small groups, the cabins can interconnect port and starboard to create a shared configuration.
The Main Deck serves as the ship’s central living and dining area. It features the dining room, bar, comfortable lounge, and library — all designed for relaxation between island visits.
Four staterooms (Category 5) are located on the Main Deck (#200-203). Each cabin measures approximately 172 sq ft and opens out to a private balcony of 43 sq ft with outdoor seating and wide ocean views. Guests enjoy ensuite bathrooms and the option of twin or queen beds.
