FINCH BAY GALAPAGOS HOTEL
The Finch Bay Galapagos Hotel is pretty much the place to go to if you just want to hit the island running and do your own thing. They have amazing hotel rooms, both twin beds and king beds, perfect for romantic couples and family escapes. And better still, you have a picking list of day tours to see the amazing wildlife and neighbouring islands of the Galapagos.
The Finch Bay Hotel
Like many things we do at Galapagos Boat Cruises, we go for the best value and the best all-around result. The Finch Bay Hotel is no exception with its subtle nuances of volcanic rocks and wooden walkways. It is also in the list of National Geograhic's Unique Lodges of the World and that carries more muscle too.
Rooms
Our Finch Bay Rooms and Finch Bay Suites offer comfortable interior and exterior spaces that unite guests with the hotel’s natural, peaceful setting. Top Ecuadorian designer Julio Vinueza chose a neutral palette for the Finch’s accommodations, adding black-out curtains, crisp bed linens, and air-conditioning for a good night’s rest.
The hotel’s 6 Finch Bay Suites all offer direct ocean views and private balconies with hammocks and furnishings designed to provide you with your own space for appreciating the privileged backdrop, while 21 Finch Bay Rooms afford shared porches or balconies with their own hammocks.
All rooms and suites have private baths with hot-water showers, hair dryers and other amenities (such as biodegradable soap and shampoo) and all are smoke-free.
Cuisine
Our menu is a reflection of the wonders that can be found by exploring the Galapagos Islands, with offerings prepared in Finch Bay-style: at your pace and as you like it.
The Finch Bay offers options for all dietary preferences and needs. From vegetarian, vegan, and celiac options to kids’ menu items, there is no request that can’t be accommodated at our restaurant. Additionally, the ingredients we use are fresh and organic. They include natural herbs and vegetables grown in our very own garden (chakrita).
Our hours of operation are the following:
Buffet breakfast is offered from 6:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
À la carte lunches and appetizers are served from 12:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Dinner is available from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
We offer dinner à la carte or as a set, three-course meal, depending on what you would like to order.
Galapagos Cocktails
Our cocktails are great for enjoying a perfect moment with friends, family, or a significant other, against the backdrop of stunning ocean views.
The sublime flavors of our cocktails are the result of two unique factors: the proximity of the Finch Bay Galapagos Hotel to the beach and the innate ability of Jossimar Luján, our very own Mixologist from Peru, who has dedicated himself to the limitless art of combining all sorts of incredible. His experience is perfectly reflected in the design of original cocktails like El Paraíso (The Paradise) and El Jardín (The Garden), featured in our unique menu.
